Standard booking terms & conditions

Credit card details are required to confirm all bookings, these are held on file and nothing is charged until departure. Cancellations made 48 hours or more prior to your scheduled arrival will incur no charges.
Cancellation policy for groups will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Check-in is available from 1pm on the day of arrival. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and/or late check-out is by arrangement only.

Payment for all accommodation must be made in full on the day of departure

Cancellation policy

When confirmed reservations are cancelled inside 48 hours prior to arrival, will incur a cancellation of one (1 ) nights accommodation against the credit card number held on file. If a cheque deposit has been paid then this will become non-refundable for Unfulfilled Bookings

As with the above cancellation policy, unfulfilled bookings will have one nights accommodation charged against the room, or rooms, that were not occupied, with no reinstatement of the booking.

Deposit policy

No reservation will be secured or guaranteed unless a valid credit card number, or deposit for the full room rate for the booking is received within five (5) working days from the time the reservation was first made.

Refunds

A full refund is given if more than 48 hours cancellation notice is given.

Final Payment

Final payment is required upon departure unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Unpaid accounts will be liable for any collection costs incurred by Cornwall Park Motor Inn. Penalty interest of 1% for each month that the account remains overdue will be charged.

Pricing structure

All prices quoted for accommodation cover the first two persons staying in a studio room. 1 & 2 bedroom apartments are changed on the basis of up to 4 people occupying these rooms. Additional guests staying in these apartments over & above the 4 person rate will be charged at $15.00 per person per night.

All prices quoted are GST inclusive.

Payment methods

Cornwall Park Motor Inn accepts the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, American express and Diners Club. Payments made by EftPos or cash must be made in advance and a deposit may be requested.

Cheque payments

Cornwall Park Motor Inn does not accept payment of account by cheque unless arrangements have been made with management. If payment is made in this way, should the cheque be dishonored, then any additional costs incurred in recovering the debt will be passed onto the payer directly.

Pre-Bookings

Pre-bookings are accepted for any date during the current year, and any extended future dates if known. Pre-booking is recommended during peak periods.

Arrival Times - Non Guaranteed booking

(without a Credit card guarantee or deposit paid)

Cornwall Park Motor Inn will hold your room until 4.00pm unless notified of a later arrival time. If you do not arrive by 4.00pm, and late arrival arrangements have not been made, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, without refund or reinstatement, to make room for other guests.

Departure Time

Cornwall Park Motor Inn requests that all guests are checked out by 10.00am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with management. Late departures must not exceed 11.00 on the day of departure. If a later departure time is required there will be an additional charge of one (1) nights accommodation.

Additional Services

Cornwall Park Motor Inn provides additional services to all guests. these include telephone access, Internet access, Photocopying, fax service.

  • Local Telephone Calls: $0.10 cents (includes 0800 calls & telephone cards)
  • National Telephone Calls: premium Telecom rates, residential discounts not applicable
  • Internet Access (in room dial up): $0.10 cents per minute
  • Photocopying: $0.20 cents per page

Additional Charges

The following costs will be charged to the group booking account should
the need be apparent:

  • Lost Keys: $5 per key
  • Dry Cleaning of duvets or bedspreads: $30 per item
  • Additional room cleaning surcharge: $30 per room
  • Carpet Cleaning: $40 per room
  • Damage to Rooms: cost of repair
  • Breakages: cost of replacement
  • Missing Chattels: cost of replacement
  • Return of Lost Property: cost of courier/postage

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all our Motel rooms. Management requests that guests respect and adhere to this policy at all times.



Group Bookings Terms & Conditions

Group Definition

A group is defined as 4 or more rooms booked for people requiring accommodation for the same itinerary and/or common purpose. Cornwall Park Motor Inn reserves the right to amend all terms and conditions of this contract should the rooms required fall below 4 rooms per night.

Cancellation Policy

When confirmed group booking reservations are cancelled inside 5 days prior to arrival, they will incur a cancellation charge of 50% of the total booking charge. If credit card details are held, this charge will be debited against the credit card number. If a cheque deposit has been paid, then this will become non-refundable.

Unfulfilled Bookings

As with the above cancellation policy, unfulfilled group bookings will have one night's accommodation charged against the room or rooms that were not occupied as per the advised schedule, with no reinstatement of the booking.

Deposit Policy

No group booking reservations will be secured or guaranteed unless a deposit for at least 50% of the booking total is received. This must be paid within 5 working days from the time the reservation was first made.

Refunds

Prices

Extras

All charges other than accommodation can be charged to each group-booking guest individually, with charges to be settled by the individual at the time of departure. Unless this is advised then all other charges will be debited to the main group booking account payable by your organisation.

Keys

The group leader is responsible for all keys. These must be returned to reception on the morning of departure.

Inspection

On the morning of departure, the group leader must be available for an inspection of all rooms utilised by the group. Any additional cleaning charges or damage charges will be discussed at this time.
